What is a subluxation?
A subluxation, also known as "the domino effect" is caused when the spine is forcefully moved out of position (i.e. auto accidents, sports injuries, work injuries) or shifts due to repetitive stress (i.e. poor posture, scoliosis). This shift puts pressure on nerves (pinched nerves) that control the function of muscles and organs. Resulting muscle spasms and poor health are often the reason for the first visit to the chiropractor. Chiropractors correct spinal misalignment, taking pressure off of damaged nerves, allowing the body to regain its full health potential.
